About the Role
You will own commercial finance for Tide’s India business across payments, lending, merchant acquiring, insurance, subscriptions, and new products. You will build unit economics, pricing, and P&L forecasts, shape global planning, advise product and commercial leaders, manage acquisition economics, assess regulatory impacts, and establish data foundations for AI-enabled finance workflows.
Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial finance experience
- Experience in fintech, banking, or financial services
- Knowledge of the Indian financial services ecosystem
- Knowledge of UPI mechanics and card networks
- Knowledge of lending and insurance
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks
- Strong storytelling and communication skills
- Experience collaborating across time zones
- Financial modelling skills
- Fluency in Google Sheets or SQL preferred
- Experience using Claude or ChatGPT to optimise finance workflows
- CFA or degree/MBA from a top-tier institution

- Set targets with the global commercial finance team
- Measure business performance
- Partner with product and commercial teams
- Frame revenue impact and pricing models
- Support member acquisition in India
- Optimise CAC, payback, and channel economics
- Own costs and margins across the India P&L
- Translate regulatory developments into financial impacts
- Establish cohort definitions and finance data structures
- Transition finance operations toward AI workflows
