About the Role

You will lead APAC corporate accounting and finance operations across regional legal entities. You will own statutory reporting, audits, close and consolidation, payroll, procure-to-pay, controls, finance systems, and accounting readiness for new entities. You will build the regional organization, manage outsourced providers, and drive controlled automation across accounting processes.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
• 5+ years as a regional or group controller in a US-headquartered or global multinational
• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification
• Experience building and leading multi-country accounting teams
• Experience owning statutory accounting and external audit
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and APAC statutory and regulatory frameworks
• Experience with month-end close, consolidation, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations
• Experience with enterprise ERP and finance systems
• Experience driving regional finance-system implementations

Responsibilities

• Lead APAC corporate accounting and financial reporting
• Own statutory financial statements, audits, board reporting, and corporate secretarial filings
• Lead month-end close, consolidation, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and flux review
• Manage regional transfer-pricing operations
• Lead regional payroll, procure-to-pay, regulatory reporting, and statistical reporting
• Build and develop a multi-country accounting and finance operations team
• Manage outsourced accounting, payroll, and procure-to-pay providers
• Lead regional finance-platform deployment, data integrity, and user acceptance
• Design and operate the regional internal-control framework
• Drive controlled automation and AI-tool adoption in accounting processes
• Lead finance readiness for new APAC legal entities
