About the Role
You will install, configure, and repair server and network hardware while maintaining accurate asset records. You will resolve tickets during rotating shifts or on-call coverage, troubleshoot cabling and network faults, respond to incidents, and support customers, partners, and vendors on site.
Requirements
- Experience deploying and supporting server and network hardware in a live data center
- Knowledge of POST, BIOS, PXE, IPMI, BMC, and component-level repair
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, switches, routers, copper, and fiber
- Linux proficiency
- Ability to perform on-call and shift work
Responsibilities
- Install, deploy, and configure server and network hardware
- Replace hardware parts and maintain accurate asset records
- Resolve tickets during rotating shifts or on-call coverage
- Troubleshoot cabling and replace faulty cabling
- Respond on site to incidents
- Support initiatives and maintain relationships with customers, partner teams, and vendors
