About the Role
You will own the product-led growth funnel across web, CLI, and VS Code. You will identify funnel drop-offs, design and ship experiments, and run a continuous program of hypotheses, instrumentation, A/B tests, and readouts. You will improve onboarding, partner on event instrumentation, and define North Star and input metrics.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years in product management
- Experience owning growth or product-led growth funnels
- Track record of measurable conversion, activation, or retention improvements
- SQL skills
- Experience with Amplitude or Mixpanel-class tools
- Knowledge of statistical significance and experimentation
- Understanding of CLI, IDE, and web user behavior
- Written communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Own the product-led growth funnel across activation, onboarding, trial conversion, and expansion
- Identify funnel drop-off points and design experiments to address them
- Build and run an experimentation program with hypotheses, instrumentation, A/B tests, and readouts
- Optimize web signup, CLI authentication and first-run experiences, and VS Code activation
- Improve onboarding for GitLab and other non-primary providers
- Partner with engineering to instrument funnel events
- Define and own North Star and input metrics
