About the Role

You will manage grants from initial review through closeout. You will conduct due diligence and compliance reviews, identify risks, coordinate grant terms and reporting, and manage agreements, payments, amendments, renewals, and closeout. You will maintain grant records, review reports, prepare portfolio summaries, resolve data discrepancies, communicate with grantees, and improve grant operations workflows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant grants management, grant operations, or related experience
  • Experience independently managing grants through the full lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of grant compliance and risk identification
  • Experience using a grants management system
  • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Ability to review financial information and check data accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong organization and reliable follow-through
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and adapt to evolving priorities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and document grant due diligence and compliance reviews
  • Identify material risks and develop recommendations
  • Coordinate grant terms and reporting expectations
  • Manage an assigned grant portfolio through the full lifecycle
  • Coordinate agreements, payment requests, amendments, renewals, and closeout
  • Track grant conditions and review grantee reports
  • Communicate requirements and timelines to prospective grantees and grantees
  • Maintain grants management system records and prepare portfolio summaries
  • Check data quality and resolve discrepancies
  • Lead or support grant operations projects and process improvements
