About the Role
You will run the day-to-day third-party risk management program. You will maintain vendor and partner inventories, coordinate onboarding and due diligence, track reviews and audit findings, monitor critical-vendor resilience, and keep issues moving through remediation and closure. You will work across internal subject matter experts to ensure risk documentation, questionnaires, service-level tracking, and reporting remain accurate and on schedule.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in third-party or vendor risk management, procurement risk, compliance, or a related operational or governance function
- Ability to manage due diligence and review cycles across multiple vendors, partners, and internal subject matter expert functions
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of, or ability to learn, due diligence tiering, BCDR, RTO, RPO, SLA monitoring, and issues management
- Comfort with Excel, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
- Be located in New York City or be ready to relocate
Responsibilities
- Maintain the third-party inventory and perform quarterly reconciliations against payment and contracting data
- Run new vendor and partner relationships through intake and onboarding
- Execute initial and recurring due diligence for third-party relationships
- Track and coordinate third-party audit requirements and follow up on findings
- Coordinate risk-based reviews with subject matter experts across internal functions
- Collect and track RTO and RPO assessments for critical vendors and maintain exit plans
- Perform due diligence on critical fourth parties where required
- Administer and track vendor and partner due diligence questionnaires
- Track service level agreements and monitor performance against them
- Maintain the TPRM issues log through identification, remediation, and closure
- Support reverse due diligence requests from partners and counterparties
