About the Role

You will support permitting, entitlement, and government relations efforts across data center infrastructure projects. You will track legislation, rulemaking, permits, deadlines, and compliance requirements; prepare briefing materials; coordinate meetings; assist with applications and public comments; and compile reports for leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science Public Administration Environmental Policy or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in government affairs regulatory affairs public policy or a related support role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize technical and regulatory information for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfort with tracking and database tools
  • Experience in energy infrastructure data center or utility sectors preferred
  • Familiarity with Pennsylvania government processes preferred
  • Exposure to environmental and regulatory permitting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Track state and local legislation rulemaking and policy developments
  • Prepare briefing materials one-pagers and talking points
  • Maintain contact databases
  • Coordinate meetings hearings and testimony
  • Draft or assist with public comments
  • Maintain permit tracking logs and status dashboards
  • Monitor regulatory deadlines and public comment periods
  • Assist with permit applications exhibits and supporting documentation
  • Research regulations and precedent
  • Support compliance reporting and recordkeeping
  • Compile status reports and briefing summaries
  • Support regulatory strategy and special projects
