About the Role
You will lead a distributed governance team and establish standards for scheme compliance, controls, evidence, issue tracking, and reporting. You will coordinate audits, manage control testing and remediation, oversee scheme communications, lead governance reviews, and deliver reporting to management, committees, and boards.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed team
- Own the scheme-compliance governance framework
- Coordinate scheme and payment-method audits, assessments, and due-diligence reviews
- Map requirements to internal controls and establish risk-based testing plans
- Manage scheme communications and requests for information
- Lead weekly, quarterly, and annual scheme governance engagements
- Partner on assurance and remediation activities
- Prepare and deliver committee, board, and management reporting
- Oversee global scheme bulletin intake, tracking, and updates
- Escalate control gaps, delays, unresolved risks, and overdue actions
- Travel internationally as needed
