About the Role
You will lead the global operations strategy and coordinate operations and middle-office teams across regions. You will oversee post-trade execution, settlement, reconciliation, reporting, automation, controls and operational risk, advise senior leadership, manage vendors, and improve efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of financial services experience
- At least 5 years of leadership experience
- Trading operations expertise
- Middle-office expertise
- Multi-asset-class experience
- Distributed team management
- Regulatory framework experience in Europe, North America and Asia
- Technology platforms knowledge
- Data flows knowledge
- Automation solutions knowledge
- Communication skills
- Influencing skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Responsibilities
- Lead the global operations strategy
- Advise the board and senior leadership
- Prepare operations for market expansion
- Manage multi-regional operations and middle-office teams
- Establish KPIs and quality controls
- Develop operational risk and regulatory control frameworks
- Oversee trade lifecycle controls, settlement, reconciliation and reporting
- Lead automation, digital transformation, data and AI initiatives
- Improve post-trade infrastructure
- Reduce operational workload and improve efficiency
- Manage relationships with clearing banks, custodians, prime brokers and vendors
- Provide operational insights to the board
- Mitigate operational risks across jurisdictions
