About the Role
Lead Wave's global marketing function across Payments, Growth, and other core teams. Shape cost-effective brand and product marketing strategies, manage internal teams and external partners, oversee brand communications, optimize customer acquisition, and manage country-level marketing budgets.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and French.
- At least 10 years of marketing experience at an FMCG, technology startup, telco, or similar company.
- Experience developing or executing B2C marketing strategies in Africa.
- Willingness to travel frequently to operating markets.
- Compelling written and verbal storytelling skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and execution.
- Manage external marketing agencies and internal PR teams.
- Develop and execute multi-channel product marketing strategies focused on offline channels, social media, and influencer initiatives.
- Monitor campaign metrics and optimize marketing performance.
- Improve messaging across channels and audience segments.
- Identify and close deals with marketing partners.
- Establish and manage marketing budgets for each country.
- Monitor spending and allocate budgets strategically.
- Optimize customer acquisition costs with the growth team.
- Oversee brand efforts and ensure consistent communications across marketing materials and touchpoints.
