About the Role
You will own physical and software systems in a factory environment, tune camera networks, improve robot reliability, deploy subsystems, diagnose production failures, and run experiments that increase throughput.
Requirements
- Have built full robotic systems
- Integrate software, hardware and processes into functional systems
- Debug failures under production pressure
- Use mechanical CAD
- Program in low-level Python or C++
- Have basic electronics skills
- Work on-site full-time in Western Massachusetts for a minimum of two years
Responsibilities
- Configure and debug distributed GigE vision systems
- Analyze end effector behavior and revise geometry
- Prototype and deploy test robots for in-line PCB validation
- Diagnose system-wide failures
- Prototype mechanical and software fixes
- Maintain production-system uptime and performance
- Travel to London and Cambridge to brief R&D teams and shape roadmap priorities
