About the Role
You will lead the design and delivery of robotic manufacturing systems for proof-of-concept, pilot, and specialized projects. You will design workcells and tooling, configure robotic software, prototype sensors and processes, create documentation, and travel to project sites when required.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience programming 6DOF robots
- Familiarity with motion-control systems and robotics programming frameworks
- Intermediate to advanced C++ and Python programming knowledge
- Experience with 3D solid modeling, analysis, and 2D manufacturing drawings
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements
Responsibilities
- Gather manufacturing-process requirements, measurements, CAD files, and documentation
- Execute robotic proof-of-concept projects
- Design robotic manufacturing cells end to end
- Design and oversee fabrication of tooling and fixtures
- Configure GMR-AI software and optimized tool paths
- Prototype inspection sensors, tools, and processes
- Develop process recipes for materials and geometries
- Partner with software, product, AI, and mechatronics teams
- Create documentation, manuals, and educational content
- Travel to project sites as required
