About the Role
You will design and build the physical systems that make robots work, including electronics, mechanics, firmware, and related components. You will lay out PCBs, design mechanical parts, write and debug firmware and software, prototype designs, and consider customer needs while designing the product.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping products
- PCB design experience with high-speed digital and power electronics
- CAD and rapid prototyping skills
- Embedded C and microcontroller firmware skills
- Ability to code and debug in C and Python
- Experience with manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, sheet metal, or injection molding
- Experience with RF or high-speed signal integrity work
- Experience ordering parts, managing a BOM, and navigating a supply chain
- FPGA experience is preferred
