About the Role
Perform manual and automated testing of backend APIs and database integrations, build automated test scripts, review requirements, develop test plans, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, configure test environments, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience with hands-on Python test automation and manual backend testing.
- Experience with Python, Pytest, Locust, HTTPX, Requests, Allure, Allure TestOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kafka, Postman, Hoppscotch, Shell, Grafana, ArgoCD, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and service-to-service communication.
- Proven API testing experience, including HTTP and WebSocket interfaces.
- Experience with relational databases and message brokers.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum processes.
- Proficiency with LLMs for test documentation and workflow optimization.
- AI tools, FinTech or crypto experience, and load testing experience are nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth manual and automated testing of backend APIs and database integrations.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Pytest, Playwright, and HTTPX/Requests.
- Review requirements and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop, review, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and configure test environments.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers on feature validation, bug fixes, and regression testing.
- Mentor QA engineers and improve testing processes using AI tools.
