About the Role
You support customers after Charles River Investment Management Solution implementations by defining requirements, configuring and tuning the application, training users, testing workflows, and resolving issues. You evaluate enhancements, document client requirements, maintain issue reporting, communicate defects, validate fixes, and advise customers on implementation and operational best practices.
Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in the financial industry
- At least 5 years of experience implementing or supporting mission-critical financial solutions
- Experience implementing or supporting front-, middle-, or back-office investment management systems
- Experience with investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system
- Knowledge of multiple asset classes, including fixed income and equity instruments
- Understanding of investment management or wealth management workflows, derivatives, and foreign exchange instruments
- Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures
- Familiarity with SQL, FIX, and reporting tools
- Strong customer service, communication, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Four-year degree in finance, mathematical finance, economics, engineering, computer science, business, or a technical field
- Ability to travel to client sites in the United States and Canada; typical travel is 30–50%
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate customer requirements and issues
- Provide product expertise and guidance after go-live
- Educate customers on CRIMS methodologies and functionality
- Advise customers on Charles River implementation and operational best practices
- Evaluate requirements for potential product enhancements
- Document and communicate product improvements
- Maintain client issue lists and status reports
- Train users on existing workflows
- Gather and document requirements for new asset classes, security types, and business lines
- Coordinate with Professional Services to assign resources
- Communicate software defects to Client Support and Product Management
- Validate defect fixes and improve documentation
