About the Role
You will coordinate safe and compliant freight movements for commercial pilots. You will establish procedures for disruptions, improve operational processes, manage customer communications and reviews, monitor delivery performance, and provide operational input for dispatching and freight-management tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of freight brokerage, carrier operations, or fleet management experience.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service exceptions, and DOT safety management controls.
- Ability to use transportation management systems to optimize delivery SLA performance and efficiency.
- Experience building operational workflows in an evolving environment.
- Communication and relationship-building skills with enterprise corporate clients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure pilot and test missions comply with DOT, FMCSA, and state autonomous-vehicle regulations.
- Establish and maintain procedures for freight disruptions, weather delays, and operational exceptions.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve processes to reduce dwell time and route delays.
- Oversee daily freight movement for commercial pilot partners and meet delivery SLAs.
- Serve as an operational contact for pilot customers and conduct operational reviews.
- Provide performance metrics and translate customer feedback into operational workflows.
- Provide operational feedback for dispatching, scheduling, asset tracking, service tracking, and freight-management software.
