About the Role
You will own strategic Japanese enterprise relationships from initial conversations through closing, onboarding, and expansion. You will travel to Japan quarterly, represent the business at industry events, translate market signals into strategy, develop targeted solutions, and analyze partnership performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of customer-facing experience with C-level audiences at complex global organizations
- Professional bilingual fluency in Japanese and English
- Knowledge of Japanese enterprise culture, procurement, and relationship dynamics
- Ability to travel to Japan at least quarterly
- Experience with P&L, commercial forecasting, and pipeline management
- Experience leading complex generative AI or machine learning implementations with measurable business outcomes
- Executive communication and presentation skills
- Relationships in Japanese media, entertainment, advertising, or enterprise technology sectors
Responsibilities
- Own strategic C-suite relationships with partners in Japan
- Travel to Japan at least quarterly for relationship building, deal advancement, and partner support
- Represent the business at Japanese events, forums, and partner summits
- Translate Japan-specific market signals into roadmap and go-to-market input
- Understand partner workflows and propose targeted solutions
- Identify and validate new Japanese opportunities
- Onboard partners to the platform and API
- Support partner expansion and technical adoption
- Analyze and report partnership performance using BI tools and data
