About the Role

You will create and maintain a training strategy for Fleet Operations in the US and Japan. You will design, deliver, localise, and evaluate learning programmes; establish competency and certification standards; manage train-the-trainer programmes; maintain training records; and improve training through operational data and feedback.

Requirements

  • Operational training programme development experience
  • Leadership experience in a safety-focused fleet, operational, or technical environment
  • Experience supporting training across multiple locations, regions, or culturally diverse teams
  • Facilitation and communication skills
  • Experience creating learning paths, assessments, competency frameworks, and certification programmes
  • Analytical and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to work across US and Japan time zones and travel when required
  • Availability to work on-site five days a week
  • Clean and compliant driving record
  • Safety-risk identification and escalation capability

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Fleet Operations training strategy and roadmap
  • Design and update onboarding, technical, safety, compliance, and professional-development programmes
  • Assess skills, identify capability gaps, and prioritise training requirements
  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, practical, and blended learning
  • Establish and localise training and competency standards
  • Create learning paths, assessments, competency frameworks, and certification programmes
  • Monitor training effectiveness and operational impact
  • Improve training content, methods, and outcomes using data and feedback
  • Develop and manage train-the-trainer programmes
  • Maintain training, competency, and certification records
  • Support training for operational changes
  • Champion continuous learning and knowledge sharing
