About the Role
You will deliver instructor-led and hands-on training on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety protocols during the night shift. You will onboard new hires, verify skills and certifications, coach employees on the production floor, maintain training records, identify skill gaps, support retraining and cross-training, and ensure adherence to procedures and EHS requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environment
- Experience delivering training or mentoring employees in a production setting preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to facilitate small-group training sessions
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and training documentation tools
Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led and hands-on manufacturing training
- Facilitate onboarding training for new hires
- Evaluate trainee performance through observation, assessments, and skills verification
- Provide real-time coaching on the production floor
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and EHS requirements
- Maintain training records and certification documentation
- Identify skill gaps and support retraining efforts
- Support cross-training initiatives
- Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
