About the Role
You will monitor department spending, reconcile actuals against budgets and forecasts, maintain accurate financial records, and report spending trends. You will follow up on invoices and purchase orders, support ad hoc financial analysis, automate recurring reporting with AI tools, and improve spend-tracking processes.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting experience
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis skills
- Cash-flow management and working-capital optimization expertise
- Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems
- Experience using AI tools for creative problem-solving
- United States work authorization
Responsibilities
- Check in with departments on spending and budget questions
- Track spend pools against budget and flag variances
- Update the core financial model with department spend data
- Reconcile actual spending against budgets and forecasts
- Follow up on invoices, purchase orders, and budget questions
- Maintain accurate spending records
- Prepare department spend-trend summaries
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
- Automate recurring tracking and reporting with AI tools
- Improve spend-tracking and reporting processes
