About the Role
You will manage payment processing and financial control activities, including intra-group billing, ledger monitoring, reconciliations, and balance-sheet substantiation. You will investigate breaks, maintain accurate accounting entries, support reporting, improve processes with digital tools, and handle audit requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in payment and financial control functions
- Financial control expertise and attention to detail
- Communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet tight timelines
Responsibilities
- Manage payment processing, intra-group billing, ledger monitoring, intercompany reconciliation, and balance-sheet substantiation
- Liaise with stakeholders on payment processing and intra-group billing arrangements
- Process payment requests and approvals on time with sufficient approval authority
- Review and investigate ledger and intercompany breaks with local and group counterparties
- Ensure proper accounting entries for payment and accrual processes
- Support financial and regulatory reporting as applicable
- Manage projects and represent Finance on payment and financial-control projects
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes using digital solution tools
- Manage internal and external audit requests related to financial and payment controls
