About the Role
Assist the accounting team with day-to-day accounting operations, accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, expense reports, audit support, and ad-hoc financial projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Strong quantitative skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Positive attitude and eagerness to take on new challenges
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Support month-end and year-end closing by preparing journal entries and reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Process and verify employee expense reports in accordance with policy
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Provide support during audits by preparing schedules and gathering documents
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required
