About the Role

You will prepare financial reports and support month-end closing activities for assigned accounts. You will maintain account schedules, investigate variances, prepare journal entries, and analyze financial performance. You will process transactions and disbursements, maintain compliance and controls, support audits, resolve data discrepancies, and improve accounting workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Experience accounting for securities such as bonds and equities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Execute month-end closing activities for assigned accounts.
  • Maintain account schedules, investigate variances, and prepare adjusting journal entries.
  • Perform financial variance analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Oversee transaction recording and monitor weekly transaction cycles.
  • Review and process disbursement requests in compliance with company policies.
  • Support financial compliance, internal controls, and accounting policies.
  • Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Resolve financial data discrepancies with cross-functional teams.
  • Improve accounting workflows, controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to finance projects, process improvements, and ad hoc assignments.
