About the Role
You will own core US accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, Medal billing, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. You will manage bank funding and cash-flow forecasting, maintain accurate ledgers and documentation, and support revenue recognition, audits, tax filings, and diligence requests. You will use Rillet and Ramp to automate manual work and reduce errors.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of accounting experience
- US GAAP knowledge
- Experience in Big 4 or public accounting and at a high-growth company is preferred
- CPA or CPA track is preferred
- Knowledge of EU accounting practices is a plus
- Experience with multi-entity accounting or bringing accounting in-house is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, payment runs, reimbursements, card reviews, vendor communication, and year-end 1099s
- Own accounts receivable and Medal billing, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and AR aging
- Reconcile bank, credit card, intercompany, and balance-sheet accounts monthly
- Support US month-end close by booking accruals, prepaids, and journal entries and preparing flux reviews
- Manage US bank accounts, payment-run and payroll funding, and a rolling cash-flow forecast
- Maintain accurate ledger coding, vendor records, and audit-ready documentation
- Support revenue recognition, audits, tax filings, and investor or diligence requests
