About the Role
Wayve is hiring a Product Feature Owner for ADAS functionality. The role owns feature scope and delivery from concept through production, works closely with OEM customers and engineering teams, supports testing and validation, and maintains alignment with customer expectations, technical feasibility, safety standards, and Wayve’s autonomy roadmap.
Requirements
- Expertise specifying and facilitating ADAS feature delivery from concept to production.
- Experience with automotive processes including requirements management, the V-model, ASPICE, quality, and validation.
- Strong customer advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills with OEM stakeholders.
- Technical understanding of ADAS features and the ability to assess trade-offs and feasibility.
- Hands-on involvement in testing, evaluation, and validation processes.
- Experience shipping complete ADAS features into large-scale production automotive programs is desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards such as ASPICE, SOTIF, FuSa, GSR-II, and DCAS is desirable.
- Experience with machine learning, LLMs, and recent generative AI methods is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Own the lifecycle and on-time delivery of assigned ADAS features from concept through production.
- Create feature specifications with feature owners and engineering teams, and provide feedback during development, testing, and validation.
- Represent OEM customer needs internally and harmonize requirements across customers to support reusable, scalable assets.
- Coordinate communication between OEMs, product teams, and engineering teams while participating in agile processes and rituals.
- Identify risks, resolve issues early, and maintain the strategic feature roadmap as autonomy capabilities evolve.
