About the Role
You will support mechanical engineering work for roll control system components. You will complete entry-level SolidWorks design, drawing, data-management, and toolbox tasks; help collect and integrate lab-test data; machine and fabricate simple prototypes; and prepare presentations, data reductions, and reports.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program with junior standing by fall 2026
- Experience with SolidWorks, Ansys, and Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and formulas
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to travel for in-person orientation, program kickoff, and the final presentation
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility for required U.S. Department of State authorizations
Responsibilities
- Conduct entry-level SolidWorks mechanical design, drawing, data-management, and toolbox tasks
- Assist with collecting and integrating engineering data for lab-based testing
- Machine and fabricate simple prototype test components
- Assist with PowerPoint presentations, Excel test-data reduction, and Word reports
