About the Role
You will establish, own, and operate the industrial security program supporting federal business. You will maintain facility and personnel clearances, oversee NISPOM compliance, deliver security training, prepare for DCSA reviews, manage classified-information safeguards, and advise on clearance requirements for contracts.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance
- 5+ years of industrial security experience under NISP
- 2+ years as an appointed FSO or Assistant FSO at a cleared defense contractor or technology company
- FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification or willingness to complete the Possessing curriculum
- Current ITPSO training
- Proficiency with DISS, NISS, NBIS/eQIP, and SF-86 processing
- Knowledge of NISPOM, SEAD 4, SEAD 3 reporting, and DD Form 254 administration
- Experience with DCSA security reviews, self-inspection programs, and remediation
- Excellent written communication
- Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C. and travel occasionally
Responsibilities
- Serve as the appointed Facility Security Officer under NISPOM and manage the facility clearance with DCSA
- Administer personnel security clearances, investigations, adjudications, reinvestigations, continuous vetting, indoctrinations, and debriefings
- Establish and run the insider threat program as ITPSO
- Lead DCSA vulnerability assessments and annual self-inspections and remediate findings
- Develop and deliver required security briefings and training
- Manage classified-information safeguarding, visit authorizations, classified meetings, courier procedures, and closed-area accreditation
- Author and maintain security procedures, technology control plans, DD Form 254 reviews, and DCSA change-condition reports
- Submit reports on suspicious contacts, adverse information, security violations, and foreign travel
- Advise on facility and personnel clearance requirements during capture and contract execution
- Coordinate physical and procedural controls for classified and CUI work with IT and security engineering
