About the Role
You will lead Facilities Operations Technicians and maintain critical data center power, cooling, and environmental systems. You will monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, implement preventive maintenance schedules and operating procedures, manage repairs, track assets, and coordinate equipment work with engineering and procurement. You will improve efficiency, minimize downtime, and respond to critical facilities incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering, or relevant equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience managing critical facilities systems
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in data centers
- 4+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining critical facilities infrastructure
- Proficiency with building management systems and environmental monitoring tools
- Leadership experience in critical facilities or technical operations
- Facilities infrastructure project leadership experience
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to pass pre-employment and annual post-employment background checks
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Facilities Operations Technicians
- Oversee maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of power, cooling, and environmental systems
- Develop and optimize preventive maintenance schedules and performance monitoring
- Create and enforce standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Coordinate equipment intake, installation, and maintenance processes
- Maintain inventory and asset-management records
- Manage critical equipment maintenance and repairs
- Improve operational efficiency and minimize downtime
- Provide on-call support for critical facilities incidents
