About the Role
You will oversee and maintain buildings, operational areas, parking, and specialized equipment. You will coordinate and track maintenance work orders, supervise contractors, manage inventories and vendor relationships, ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards, and support office logistics including room bookings, events, and travel arrangements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in facilities or office management or a similar position
- Degree or diploma in business administration or a related field
- Work authorization in Burkina Faso
- Fluency in English, French, and local languages
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders to achieve complex objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Good data analysis skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, tidy, and well-organized office environments
- Ensure general upkeep of facilities, buildings, and equipment
- Manage room bookings for meetings and training sessions
- Plan office layouts and support equipment procurement, moves, expansions, and reconfigurations
- Coordinate and track maintenance work orders
- Supervise contractors for cleaning, landscaping, painting, and repairs
- Address building, connectivity, and maintenance issues in offices and housing
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds
- Ensure assets and buildings comply with local regulations and safety standards
- Follow up on utility bill payments
- Manage inventories and vendor relationships
- Ensure service continuity and cost control
- Arrange international travel
- Organize internal events, meetings, and office lunches
- Support the HR & Facilities Lead on facility-related logistics
- Oversee the company vehicle fleet and monitor fuel consumption
