About the Role
You will plan and deliver VIP, special, third-party, and customer events from concept through onsite execution. You will manage vendors, budgets, registration, guest communications, event branding, logistics, gifting, security clearances, inventory, and departmental workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of event-planning experience in a fast-paced and tech-forward environment
- Ability to travel often and work extended hours and weekends
- Ability to pass Air Force and NASA background checks for installation access
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lb
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute VIP, special, third-party, and customer events
- Source and manage event vendors
- Develop event agendas, registration, invite lists, and executive customer communications
- Provide onsite event management for receptions and weekend events
- Develop event branding, décor, activations, themes, and custom elements
- Manage supplies, budgets, payments, shipping, and inventory
- Use AI to automate and streamline event-planning workflows
- Coordinate customer and event gifting and branded décor
- Facilitate guest security clearances
