About the Role
You will lead delivery of developer-experience improvements while remaining hands-on with architecture, coding, reviews, and technical decisions. You will define developer workflows, improve CI/CD and build systems, prioritize initiatives, and help engineers grow through knowledge sharing and clear processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Developer Experience, DevOps, or related fields
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Go
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools
- Experience building and leading high-performing developer tooling or infrastructure teams
- Experience working with Product, Design, and Business teams
- Experience with project management and planning for infrastructure and tooling initiatives
- Ability to ship developer tooling and platforms end-to-end
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Experience with build systems, container registries, and developer tooling
Responsibilities
- Remove obstacles and enable engineers to build developer tools and platforms
- Own delivery of the developer-experience roadmap
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, build systems, cloud registries, code analysis, and vulnerability analysis
- Partner with engineering teams to define priorities and scope initiatives
- Design architecture, write code, conduct peer reviews, and make technical decisions
- Define team processes, best practices, and developer workflows
- Promote knowledge sharing, documentation, and rotation of responsibilities
- Improve developer productivity and delivery quality
