About the Role

Lead Safe's Wallet engineering team across frontend, mobile, and backend, overseeing core user-facing experiences including login, onboarding, transactions, passkeys, Workspaces, and security flows. Own delivery predictability, roadmap execution, technical quality, architecture decisions, and team development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
  • Strong TypeScript understanding.
  • Experience leading engineering teams building user-facing products.
  • Ability to lead across frontend, mobile, and backend domains.
  • Strong technical judgment in system design, architecture, RFC review, and trade-off analysis.
  • Ability to work closely with Product and QA on roadmap definition, execution, and quality.
  • Full-stack engineering background.
  • Experience with React, React Native, or NestJS.
  • Web3 or fintech experience.
  • Familiarity with authentication flows, access management, or transaction-based experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead senior and staff-level engineers across frontend, mobile, and backend.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of Safe's core user-facing product experiences.
  • Plan milestones, track progress in Linear, surface risks, and adjust scope or resources.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and QA on roadmap, requirements, and quality.
  • Balance delivery speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
  • Hold the team accountable for ownership, technical quality, and follow-through.
  • Foster trust and autonomy within the engineering team.
  • Review RFCs, system designs, critical technical changes, and architecture trade-offs.
