About the Role
You will lead and grow a team of 9+ engineers, set technical and product direction for Plaid in Europe, shape roadmaps and tradeoffs, dive into technical design, unblock complex problems, and represent engineering in leadership decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience
- Staff-level engineering experience before transitioning into management
- 2-3+ years of engineering management experience
- Experience building and growing engineering teams
- Experience owning a production product area
- Experience designing scalable and reliable systems
- Strong technical judgment
- Experience in fintech, payments, credit, or regulated domains
- Experience leading teams in international or multi-region environments
- Startup or founder experience
