About the Role

You will develop and articulate the engineering strategy and technical vision, translating long-term goals into actionable plans. You will manage and grow a high-performing engineering team, guide recruitment and onboarding, and hold a high bar for software quality and engineering processes. You will provide architectural oversight and technical direction, ensure scalability, security, and reliability of infrastructure, and evaluate and integrate emerging web3 technologies. You will define and deliver processes that improve consistency and product quality and participate in strategic technical decision making.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience
• Understanding of modern application architectures and ability to lead technical discussions
• Excellence at maintaining high software quality and engineering processes
• A healthy amount of paranoia
• Prior experience in fast-paced technology companies (style point)
• Active tracking of developments in the crypto ecosystem and opinions on its direction (style point)
