About the Role
Lead engineering delivery for a subscriptions platform across multiple markets, owning the technical direction and execution of systems for subscription creation, pricing, and lifecycle management. Manage and develop engineers, establish technical standards, build reliable cloud-native services, and partner with Product, Billing, Payments, Marketing, Data, and Finance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building server-side applications
- Detailed knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices
- Experience implementing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience building scalable and reliable cloud-native solutions
- Secure, well-tested, and well-documented software practices
- Experience integrating third-party providers and partners
- Experience with relational databases
- Ability to use AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering productivity and software quality
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
- Hands-on technical leadership

- Experience directly managing people
