About the Role

You will lead and develop distributed engineering teams across the US, UK, and APAC. You will prioritize urgent customer and pre-sales needs alongside maintenance work, establish incident and escalation processes, uphold engineering quality, and coordinate plans with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineers
• Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence
• Prior experience as a senior or staff software engineer
• Experience managing customer-facing, support, sustaining, or reliability engineering teams
• Experience prioritizing urgent customer issues, pre-sales requests, and maintenance work
• Experience managing teams across multiple time zones and regions
• Understanding of backend systems, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL systems, or high-volume data processing

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow engineering teams across the US, UK, and APAC
• Prioritize urgent pre-sales requests, customer issues, feature requests, and backend maintenance work
• Ensure continuous follow-the-sun coverage across time zones
• Translate customer and deal-critical needs into engineering plans
• Integrate customer-driven work into the broader platform roadmap
• Set engineering quality standards and drive long-term fixes
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Establish on-call, escalation, and incident response processes
• Report on team health, throughput, and customer outcomes
• Remove blockers and make technical decisions under pressure
