About the Role
Lead the core technology behind highly distributed platform systems, including wallet, authentication, balances, events, and integrations, while driving secure, scalable engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of engineering management experience leading multiple teams
- At least 10 years of hands-on backend development experience
- Experience architecting and operating large-scale secure distributed systems
- Security and attack-vector design experience
- Expertise in crypto, financial services, or high-security authentication platforms
- Experience scaling platforms for millions of users and high transaction throughput
- Experience hiring and developing senior and principal engineers
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Proficiency in TypeScript and AWS infrastructure
- TEE experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap, architecture, and standards for the Platform team
- Contribute to critical design reviews and set coding standards
- Oversee the design and implementation of complex distributed systems
- Lead, mentor, and expand the engineering organization
- Work with customers to understand technical integration and performance needs
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and AI technology
