About the Role
You will lead and grow the engineering function, set technical direction, and oversee AI agent systems for high-load consumer and multi-agent use cases. You will own the technical stack, establish engineering and deployment standards, collaborate on scalable product systems, make infrastructure and model decisions, and hire and mentor senior engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- At least 2 years in technical leadership
- Experience shipping AI agents or LLM-based products in production
- TypeScript proficiency
- Distributed systems architecture experience
- Kubernetes experience
- AWS experience
- Knowledge of high-load B2C systems
- Engineering team leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the engineering team
- Set technical direction and engineering culture
- Architect and oversee AI agent systems
- Own the TypeScript, Restate, Kubernetes, and AWS stack
- Define engineering processes, code-quality standards, and deployment practices
- Translate product vision into scalable systems
- Make infrastructure, model-selection, and agent-design decisions
- Hire and mentor senior engineers
