About the Role
You will lead Infrastructure, SRE, and Enterprise Governance Engineering teams. You will set technical direction, recruit and coach engineers, oversee platform strategy and execution, and work with customers and field engineering to solve distributed systems challenges.
Requirements
- Engineering management experience leading high-performing teams
- Experience scaling teams while maintaining culture
- Experience hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Knowledge of distributed systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and virtual machines
- Execution and prioritization skills
- Communication skills
Responsibilities
- Guide team vision and technical direction
- Recruit, enable, and lead a high-performing engineering team
- Drive strategy and execution for cloud providers, Kubernetes, autoscaling, control plane, data plane, reliability, billing, and production databases
- Work with customers and field engineering to solve customer challenges
- Maintain a high hiring bar, coach engineers, and manage performance
