About the Role
You will lead platform security engineers working on firmware research, operating-system and kernel hardening, platform trust, and server-management firmware. You will own the security roadmap, manage vendor relationships, conduct platform risk assessments, and ensure security controls operate reliably in production.
Requirements
- 10+ years of systems-security experience
- 5+ years focused on firmware, hardware, or OS-level security
- 5+ years managing security or systems engineers
- Secure boot and measured boot knowledge
- TPM and hardware-root-of-trust knowledge
- Attestation protocols including SPDM, DICE, and remote attestation
- UEFI and BMC firmware knowledge
- Linux kernel and operating-system hardening
- Technical-roadmap ownership
- Silicon-vendor, OEM, cloud-provider, or bare-metal-provider security experience
- Design-review, risk-assessment, and executive-status writing
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, onboard, develop, and prioritize the platform security engineering group
- Own the platform-security roadmap and delivery
- Secure hardware roots of trust, attestation, secure boot, measured boot, and host-side attestation pipelines
- Own firmware supply-chain security, including SBOMs, integrity manifests, authenticated updates, and rollback protection
- Conduct platform risk assessments and make go/no-go recommendations
- Partner with infrastructure, fleet, compute, and detection-and-response teams to deploy controls
- Manage security requirements, vulnerability management, disclosure, and remediation with vendors and providers
- Run design reviews, threat models, platform-incident participation, and status reporting
