About the Role
You will lead software engineers building the next-generation Databricks SQL control plane. You will hire and coach talent, contribute to technical, product, and design discussions, operate a highly available cloud service, define the roadmap, and partner on planning, prioritization, and staffing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in database systems, data processing, or related domains
- Experience building highly available cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience building, growing, and managing high-performance teams
- Experience defining and meeting SLOs for highly available systems
- Ability to attract and hire engineers
- Experience collaborating with product management and partners
