About the Role
You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized energetic-material production equipment. You will lead propulsion-subsystem assembly, inspect work, maintain quality records, support engineering test activities, and train Technician I and operator personnel.
Requirements
- Work 2nd-shift hours, Monday through Thursday, 10:30am to 9:00pm MDT
- Understand explosive safety and energetic-material handling
- Use measuring equipment, precision assembly, and process-control methods
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
- Maintain documentation for traceability and audit readiness
- Demonstrate problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 3–5 years of manufacturing experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in energetic-material processing or rocket-motor assembly
- Be eligible to obtain and maintain state and federal explosives licenses
- Be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR requirements
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialized production equipment
- Lead assembly of rocket propulsion subsystems
- Train personnel in operating procedures, safety protocols, and technical tasks
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct in-process inspections and assist root-cause analysis
- Train and guide Technician I and operator employees
- Support energetic test-article preparation and execution
- Maintain production documentation, batch records, and quality paperwork
- Direct daily activities of operators and technicians
