About the Role
Support workplace concerns, conflict resolution, and internal investigations across the organization. Handle sensitive employee and manager situations, document cases, apply workplace policies, advise managers, support training, apply federal and Colorado employment law, and identify early signs of workplace concerns.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of HR generalist or employee relations experience.
- Experience with investigations, performance management, and employee-facing advisory work.
- Working knowledge of federal employment law.
- Familiarity with Colorado labor law preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations with discretion and empathy.
- Willingness to travel periodically up to approximately 10–15%.
- Must be based in Denver, Colorado.
- Experience in a scaling or high-growth company is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and conduct internal investigations.
- Document cases accurately and handle them fairly and promptly.
- Serve as a discreet point of contact for employees and managers.
- Handle day-to-day employee relations cases.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and People Operations to apply workplace policies consistently.
- Track cases to support consistent outcomes.
- Advise managers on employee situations, performance concerns, and policy questions.
- Apply federal employment law and Colorado-specific requirements.
- Support manager training on conflict resolution, documentation, and ER risk identification.
- Identify early signs of morale issues or workplace concerns and escalate them.
