About the Role
You will assemble mechanical and electrical components from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. You will inspect and test products, use and maintain assembly tools, troubleshoot issues, document work, follow safety procedures, support process improvements, and perform routine equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly or related experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail and precision
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of assembled parts
- Use hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment to assemble and test products
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
- Identify and resolve assembly issues
- Maintain records of assembly processes, inspection results, and modifications
- Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents
- Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives
- Collaborate to meet production goals and deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment
