About the Role
You will perform incoming, in-process, and final visual inspections of materials and products. You will document results and nonconformance reports, segregate defective material, support audits and corrective actions, and provide timely inspection data while following safety procedures around explosives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction
- Strong visual inspection proficiency and ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or industry quality standards
- Accurate documentation and record-keeping skills
- Must pass an internal visual acuity test
- Must be a U.S. Person
Responsibilities
- Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final visual inspections
- Record inspection results and nonconformance reports
- Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming material
- Assist with internal audits and corrective and preventive actions
- Support visual inspection tasks for energetic material processing
- Provide inspection data for solid rocket motor and energetic manufacturing systems
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
