About the Role
You will build wire harnesses and cable assemblies to IPC-620 standards. You will test continuity, isolate faults, perform on-robot rework and debugging, improve harness processes and documentation, and maintain traceable work records. You will support prototype and production work while keeping the workspace safe and organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3+ years of direct wire-harness fabrication and assembly experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
- Proficiency with crimpers, strippers, heat guns, and a multimeter
- IPC-620 certification
- Soldering and troubleshooting skills for open circuits, short circuits, and connection issues
Responsibilities
- Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies to IPC-620 acceptance criteria
- Test completed harnesses for continuity and isolate faults
- Support prototype harness builds, production assembly, and rework
- Perform on-robot rework and debugging
- Improve recurring harness-build processes, fixturing, and documentation
- Maintain accurate and traceable work records
- Keep the workspace safe, organized, and audit-ready
