You will design ruggedized wiring harnesses, validate electrical and CAN performance, commission vehicles in the field, troubleshoot failures, and produce documentation that enables repeatable deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years of post-degree experience in electrical systems integration, vehicle electronics, or hardware engineering
- Electrical schematic reading and authoring
- OEM electrical-system characterization
- Wiring-harness design experience
- KiCAD, RapidHarness, or equivalent harness-design tools
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Bench instrumentation experience, including DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads
- CAN bus troubleshooting, logging, decoding, and interpretation
- Python or comparable scripting-language proficiency
- Ability to work onsite in Palo Alto and travel up to approximately 25%
Responsibilities
