About the Role
You will troubleshoot system, board, and component failures and drive root-cause analysis to silicon, PCB, or external components. You will remotely diagnose deployed systems using Linux tools, logs, and telemetry, document results, guide corrective actions, and contribute recommendations during design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 3–5+ years of hardware bring-up, system integration, board or system debug, or failure-analysis experience
- Analytical, diagnostic, and first-principles problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and electrical bench instrumentation
- Python scripting experience for data analysis and automation
- Communication skills for presenting technical findings
Responsibilities
- Characterize failure signatures and troubleshoot systems, boards, and components
- Drive failure analysis to root cause
- Diagnose deployed-system failures using Linux tools, logs, telemetry, and diagnostic utilities
- Analyze and document results and provide recommendations
- Resolve issues and corrective actions with internal teams and vendors
- Contribute electrical, mechanical, and thermal recommendations in design reviews
