About the Role
You will lead and mentor electrical engineers, set technical direction, drive manufacturability and testability, manage contract-manufacturer production work, translate OEM requirements into engineering specifications, and ensure electrical systems meet automotive functional-safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 10+ years of hardware development experience
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers
- Complex PCB design experience
- High-speed signaling expertise
- Thermal design knowledge for autonomous vehicle compute platforms
- Power distribution and DC-DC conversion expertise
- Knowledge of vehicle power architecture
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and automotive-grade reliability
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor electrical engineers
- Set technical direction for embedded compute and power distribution
- Drive design for manufacturability and testability
- Manage contract manufacturer relationships and NPI cycles
- Conduct line audits and resolve production bottlenecks
- Translate OEM supplier requirements into engineering specifications
- Ensure systems meet ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100 standards
- Maintain a reliability roadmap
