About the Role
You will act as the technical bridge between stakeholders, construction partners, design firms, and customers during data center campus design. You will develop construction-ready electrical designs, specify critical power equipment, perform system studies, review consultant and shop drawings, resolve construction RFIs, review submittals, and participate in factory witness testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of electrical engineering design experience focused on data centers or mission-critical industrial facilities
- Expert-level knowledge of the National Electrical Code and relevant NFPA and IEEE standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, and SKM
- Experience taking complex electrical designs from schematic phases through construction execution
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Advance designs for large-scale data center campuses
- Design and specify transformers, LV/MV switchgear, UPS, power distribution, protection and controls, transfer systems, switchboards, cabling, busway, and panels
- Perform short-circuit, protection, arc-flash, load flow, harmonics, and dynamic transient analysis studies
- Review external consultant drawings and specifications
- Review shop drawings for compliance with the Basis of Design
- Support field engineering by resolving RFIs and reviewing submittals
- Provide design clarifications during construction
- Participate in factory witness testing
